TelcoBridges Tmedia 1+1 Solutions; Focused on Providing HA & Redundancy

TelcoBridges announced the official launch of its Tmedia 1+1 Solutions and release of its software version 2.6, in June 2011. For the official release click here.

The TelcoBridges Tmedia 1+1 solutions answer service providers’ needs for high availability and redundancy. 

The Tmedia 1+1 solutions consist of three components:
1) A standard Tmedia Unit (2U)
2) A Tmedia +1 Unit (2U)
3) And a Tmedia 1+1 patch panel (1U)

How the solution works...
When properly installed and configured, the standard Tmedia unit acts as the primary (active) VoIP gateway and the Tmedia +1 unit acts as the secondary (standby). The two are controlled through the connection of the VoIP ports 0 and 1 and in the event of product malfunction; traffic is transferred from the active to the standby unit through the patch panel connection, without the need for human intervention. 

Tmedia 1+1 solutions ensure redundancy in terms of: power redundancy, packet network redundancy and facility protection.

TelcoBridges e-store to Launch in November 2011

TelcoBridges has focused on two principles to drive long terms business: 1) the development of its channels, and 2) making working with TelcoBridges simple for its clients. The new TelcoBridges e-store was developed with these two principles in mind. The estore takes a completely customizable products and makes it easy to select all the product options, without a second thought. 

To be launched to partners only, the TelcoBridges estore allows for quotes of the product in under 2 minutes, details all the custom VoIP gateway options from choice of power supply to number of SS7 links, hardware ready options, extended warranties and additional technical support banks, all through easy to use drop down menus. Questions are up in the air whether this is a step TelcoBridges is taking toward communicating their MSRP in the market. Currently no MSRP is circulated and as TelcoBridges is a privately held company, pricing is currently in the hands of partners to send in the market. However, initial market research is suggesting that should this happen TelcoBridges products would quickly begin to take head on the competition. there is no certain decision on whether this will become a reality or not in the near future.
